Abstract

This study aims to analyze the key success factors for implementing the Poka-Yoke technique to improve quality within organizations. It reviews and compares global and Arab experiences, highlighting Poka-Yoke as an effective tool for preventing errors and reducing waste. Despite its international success, its application in Arab contexts remains limited and faces unique challenges. The study uses a descriptive, analytical, and comparative approach, examining case studies from industrial and service sectors. Findings show that success depends on a strong quality culture, continuous training, top management commitment, and preventive process management. A clear gap was found between global and Arab contexts in terms of institutional infrastructure, awareness, and professional empowerment. The study recommends adapting international models to local conditions and increasing awareness of Poka-Yoke as a strategic quality tool.
