Design and Implementation of University Printer Service

Abstract

في اطار انجاز مشروع تخرجنا تجت عنوان: ،"Design and Implementation of University Printer Service" وهو انجاز تطبيق ويب يهدف إلى تبسيط وتسريع عملية الطباعة داخل الوسط الجامعي. ر هذا التطبيق واجهة سهلة االستخدام تُمّكن الطلبة واألساتذة من تحميل ملفاتهم، اختيار يوفّ خصائص الطباعة المناسبة )مثل عدد النسخ، الطباعة المزدوجة، ...(، ثم يتم إرسال الطلب مباشرة إلى نقطة طباعة داخل الحرم الجامعة. بذلك، يُجنّب هذا النظام االطوابير الطويل والطباعة اليدوية التي تستهلك الوقت والجهد . من خالل هذه الخدمة الرقمية، أصبح من الممكن تنظيم عملية الطباعة بشكل أكثر احترافية، مع تحسين تدفق الطلبات وتخفيف الضغط على نقاط الطباعة، خاصة في فترات االمتحانات أو التسجيالت. كما يساعد النظام في تقليل الورق المهدر والحبر من خالل إعدادات طباعة مخصصة، مع إمكانية تتبع كل طلب ومعالجته بدقة. يمثل هذا التطبيق خطوة مهمة نحو التحول الرقمي داخل الجامعة، ويُعدّ وسيلة فعالة لتحسين الخدمات

الجامعية اليومية، ويمكن مستقبالً As part of our final year project, we designed and implemented a web application titled: "Design and Implementation of University Printer Service", which aims to simplify and speed up the printing process within the university environment. The application provides an easy-to-use interface that allows students and staff to

upload their documents, choose specific print settings (such as number of copies, double- sided printing, color or black-and-white), and send the request directly to a selected printing

point on campus. This helps avoid long queues and reduces the manual effort typically required for printing. Thanks to this digital service, printing tasks are now more organized and handled more efficiently, especially during peak academic periods like exams or enrollment. The system also contributes to reducing paper and ink waste by allowing users to tailor their print jobs, and offers the possibility to track and manage each request accurately. This project represents an important step toward the digital transformation of university services, offering a practical solution that improves day-to-day academic operations. In the future, the system can be enhanced to support online payments or integrate with student ID cards.
