This study aims to explore the role of animated films in shaping the psychological, social, and cognitive aspects of children, focusing on their impact on identity formation, emotional development, and the understanding of reality and fantasy. The study's significance stems from the increasing presence of animation in children's lives and the cultural and value-based messages it conveys, influencing their perception of the world. The study employs a qualitative, interdisciplinary approach based on theoretically guided textual analysis, using Frozen as a case study. The theoretical framework integrates film semiotics, structural and developmental psychology, media theories, and cultural studies to analyze how meaning is produced within the film and its impact on the child viewer. The study draws on several theories, including cultural implantation theory, social learning theory, and the cognitive development theories of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky. The analysis encompasses the film's narrative structure, character design, emotional representation, and the socio-cultural messages it conveys. Thus, the study concludes that animation is more than just a form of entertainment; it plays a significant role in shaping children's awareness, values, and social perceptions. The findings also confirm that animated films possess cultural and ideological dimensions that warrant analysis within contemporary literary and cultural studies.
