Abstract
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) from power converter, particularly DC-DC Converters,
has emerged as a critical concern due to their rapid global expansion. The predominant source of
EMI in renewable energy systems is the power converter, such as converters, which relies on highfrequency switching devices for energy transformation. These converters generate conducted EMI at
both the direct current (DC) interface with power source. To ensure system reliability and prevent
disruption to grid operations and connected devices, these emissions must strictly adhere to
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards. In this context, developing an electromagnetic
interference (EMI) model of the system proves to be a powerful analytical tool, offering detailed
insights into the mechanisms of noise generation, propagation, and their effects on various
components of the renewable energy system. Moreover, such models are instrumental in formulating
effective noise mitigation strategies, including the optimal design of EMI filters.
