Import Cost Calculator System

Abstract

This research presents a comprehensive study on the design and development of a computerized Import Cost Calculator System aimed at simplifying and automating the complex process of calculating customs duties and various taxes associated with import operations. The system is built on modern web technologies (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and provides an integrated platform that enables users to manage cost calculations with high accuracy and efficiency. The system was designed considering the functional requirements of importers, including calculation of Value Added Tax (TVA), customs duties (DD), and distribution of additional costs across imported products. Evaluation results showed that the system achieves high accuracy in calculations, with a user-friendly interface that allows saving and retrieving data, leading to improved efficiency in managing import operations and reducing human errors
