Abstract

This study analyzes the FinTech sector in the Arab world, focusing on its adoption, investment patterns, and main challenges. It uses a descriptive and analytical approach based on secondary data from Wamda reports, regional investment analyses, and official statistics. The results show significant growth in the sector, especially in GCC countries, with investments concentrated in digital payments, e-commerce, and early-stage startups. North African countries remain less active due to weak digital infrastructure and limited regulations. Despite these challenges, the region holds strong potential for FinTech to drive sustainable economic growth and digital innovation.
