dc.description.abstractThis dissertation examines the use of modern digital technologies for biodiversity documentation and environmental data analysis in Algeria through the design and development of an intelligent digital platform named EcoPlant DZ. The platform is proposed as an applied model intended to support environmental research and smart agriculture, particularly in the Wadi Souf region. The study is based on a central research problem concerning the possibility of using digital platforms, databases, artificial intelligence, and environmental simulation to improve biodiversity documentation, organize environmental and agricultural data, and provide decision￾support tools. The study adopts a developmental-applied approach for platform design and implementation, and a descriptive-analytical approach for the theoretical and environmental components. The platform was developed with an Arabic right-to-left interface and integrates an environmental database including plant species, soil types, climatic data, Algerian provinces, and environmental scenarios. It also includes a plant disease diagnosis module, an environmental simulation unit, a community space, and a smart farm module for monitoring and remote control. The results indicate that integrating environmental databases with artificial intelligence and digital simulation can improve biodiversity documentation, support agricultural analysis, and provide preliminary recommendations for users. The study also shows that EcoPlant DZ represents a preliminary and scalable model that combines scientific, educational, agricultural, and community-oriented functions. The study recommends expanding the database to include additional plant, animal, and fungal species, integrating real-time weather data, improving the intelligent diagnosis model using local datasets, and developing a mobile version suitable for areas with limited internet connectivity.
