This research explored the possibility of using chemical compounds of essential oils as environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional pesticides, meeting the growing need for sustainable pest management, and the study examined the insecticidal properties of these chemically manufactured compounds, especially eugenol and menthol. The methodology included conducting toxicity tests on aphids (sp) to evaluate the effectiveness of Eugenol and menthol against this lesion. The main results showed that Eugenol at concentrations of 5% and 2% showed significant insecticidal activity with a mortality rate of 100% and 85%. The Eugenol menthol formulation also showed high toxicity to the target pest, with a mortality rate of 90% at a concentration of 2% and 70% at a concentration of 0.2% In conclusion, this research provides evidence supporting the potential of these manufactured chemical compounds as effective and safe alternatives to conventional pesticides, providing valuable insights for developing sustainable pest control strategies. The study identified two promising pest control pathways. First, eugenol showed superior effectiveness against aphids, achieving a mortality rate of about 85% and up to 100%. Secondly, the combination of eugenol with menthol has proven its high effectiveness and severe toxicity, with mortality rates reaching nearly 100%. The best combination was eugenol with menthol, which showed high effectiveness, demonstrating its strong potential as an alternative to traditional pesticides.
