مناهج البحث العلمي عند علماء المسلمين

Abstract

ملخص: يُعتَبر التقدُّم في مجال العلوم ومناهجِ البحثِ فيها هو مفتاح الرِّيادة للأمم عبر شتَّى العصور، وقبل قرون ساد المسلمون على العالم، وترجموا علوم الأمم السابقة، وطَوَّروا مناهج البحث فيها، وأظهروا -بفضل المناهج التجريبية- الاكتشافات العلمية، فنشأت بذلك حضارة إسلامية مزدهرة، ثم استأنف الغرب ما أسسه علماء المسلمين وزادوا عليه وطوروا، حتى صارت لهم السيادة؛ غير أنهم لم يُنصِفوا أصحاب التأسيس، بل سَطَوا على اكتشافاتهم ونسبوها زورا إلى أنفسهم، ولم يدينوا للمسلمين بسابقة الفضل على هذه الحضارة الغربية المتطورة، القائمة على المناهج العلمية التجريبية، إلاّ أن التاريخ يحفظ هذه الحقائق ويشهد بها للمسلمين، وإن نَكَل الغرب عن الاعتراف بها. Abstract: The advancement in the field of science and research methodology has been considered a key factor in nations' leadership throughout various ages. Centuries ago, Muslims prevailed over the world by translating the sciences of previous civilizations and refining their research methodology, enabling them to demonstrate scientific discoveries, that led them to the thriving Islamic civilization emergence. Subsequently, the West carried on what Muslim scientists had started, added to it, and developed it further, often without crediting the actual source. They did not acknowledge Muslims for paving the way toward the advanced Western civilization, which is hinged on empirical scientific methods. Nonetheless, history preserves these truths and bears witness to them for Muslims, even if the West refuses to acknowledge them.
