Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of intellectual capital and its promotion of open innovation at the organisational and national levels by analysing Algeria's position compared to neighbouring countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt) in light of the Global Sustainability Competitiveness Index (GSCI), specifically the intellectual capital index, and the Global Innovation Index (GII). Contemporary changes require everyone to possess intellectual capital with characteristics that enable it to support innovation and develop an effective environment, while responding to changes in the face of intense competition in a way that ensures its survival and continuity.
