الممارسات الخضراء في الفنادق

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة لإستعراض أهم الممارسات الخضراء في الفنادق باعتبارها أحد السبل الفعّالة لتحقيق التوجه نحو الفنادق المستدامة في قطاع السياحة عمومًا، والسياحة البيئية على وجه الخصوص، وقد تم ذلك من خلال عرض وتحليل تجربة منتجع المها الصحراوي بدبي كنموذج رائد في تطبيق الممارسات البيئية المستدامة في قطاع الضيافة، ولتحقيق الهدف من الدراسة تم الإعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أنّ دمج الاستدامة في صناعة الضيافة لا يقتصر فقط على الإمتثال للمعايير البيئية، بل يُسهم أيضًا في تعزيز التنافسية وتحقيق قيمة مضافة للسائح، والبيئة، والمجتمع المحلي. وفي هذا السياق نجح منتجع المها الصحراوي في المواءمة بين الفخامة والحفاظ على البيئة من خلال مجموعة الممارسات الخضراء التي إعتمدها، مما يجعله نموذجًا متميزًا للفنادق الفاخرة التي تتبنى المسؤولية البيئية كجزء من هويتها التشغيلية. This study aims to highlight the most significant green practices in hotels as one of the effective means to promote the shift toward sustainable hotels in the tourism sector in general, and eco-tourism in particular. The research presents and analyzes the case of Al Maha Desert Resort in Dubai as a pioneering model in implementing environmentally sustainable practices in the hospitality industry. To achieve the study’s objective, the descriptive analytical method was employed. The study concludes that integrating sustainability into the hospitality industry is not limited to compliance with environmental standards ; rather, it also contributes to enhancing competitiveness and creating added value for tourists, the environment, and the local community. In this context, Al Maha Desert Resort has successfully balanced luxury and environmental conservation through a range of adopted green practices, making it a distinguished model of luxury hotels that incorporate environmental responsibility as part of their operational identity.
