| dc.description.abstract | Medicinal plants occupy a large place in the history of medicine and have greatly contributed to the development of modern medicine. As part of the promotion of medicinal plants used in traditional Algerian medicine to treat stomach-related diseases, a survey of medicinal plants was conducted in the wilaya of El-Oued (Algeria). 43 plant species, the leaves are the most used part and generally is powder, the data on the level of knowledge of the people studied range from the age of 18 to over 60 years. Bibliographic data confirm the use of the majority of these plants in the treatment of gastric diseases . | |
