Abstract

Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) are essential tools for improving human resource management within economic organizations. For this reason, both Emirates Airlines and DXN have implemented the Oracle HCM Cloud system to achieve a digital transformation in their human resource management processes. The main objective of our study is to demonstrate the positive role of HRIS in improving the function of human resource management in Emirates Airlines and DXN. We relied on a descriptive-analytical approach for the theoretical part and a comparative approach for the practical part. The study concluded that the Oracle HCM Cloud system helped both companies improve their human resource management by benefiting from improvements in various areas. DXN benefited from artificial intelligence in recruitment and performance management, achieving greater improvements in some aspects, such as reducing recruitment time and improving its accuracy, increasing employee engagement, reducing operational errors, and enhancing efficiency in payroll and rewards processing. Meanwhile, Emirates Airlines benefited from continuous analytical tools to improve employee evaluation and training. They achieved greater improvements in some areas, such as increasing the speed of performance reports, enhancing their recruitment capabilities, reducing recruitment time, improving performance efficiency, increasing transparency in payroll management, and enabling quick and secure access to data.
