Abstract

Abstract : The present study aims to construct a media guide for the development of academic and vocational choice among students of the first secondary school year (science and technology). The study raised a general question: How effective is the media guide for the development of academic and vocational choice among students of first secondary school year (science and technology) ? To give answer to this principal question, the study hypothesis was: There are statistically significant differences between pre-measurement and the post- measurement in the academic and vocational choices scale among students of secondary first year (science and technology). The study is based on the descriptive approach in its comparative causal method. The sample of the study consisted of (30) students of the first science secondary in Dasi Khalifa High School, and we used a variety of statistical methods. The following results were obtained: * There are statistically significant differences between the premeasurement and the post-secondary measurement in the academic and vocational choices test among students of first year secondary science and technology for the benefit of the post-secondary measurement. The Media Guide has positive effects on the sample members and has achieved its goal in developing their academic and vocational choices. ‌
