Abstract
Through this research paper, we seek to diagnose the reality of the digital transformation environment and
assess the extent to which Algerian public administration employees accept digital transformation, as an
important change in the style of administrative practice, and to show the impact of digital transformation on job
performance, through the case study of the Office of Youth Institutions ODEJ Ouargla during the last tripartite
of 2024, where 50 questionnaires were distributed to the administrative staff in the same institution, whom we
consider the study community, and after processing and analyzing the data in the statistical program SPSS
version 22. It was found that the reliability of the measurement tool was close to 93%, which is statistically
excellent percentage, The results of the analysis also showed the existence of a digital transformation
environment at an average level in ODEJ Ouargla, and a difference in employees' opinions regarding their
acceptance of it, between acceptors and opponents, despite their good job performance. The study
recommended that the authorities responsible for this sector should continuously improve the digital
infrastructure, develop human resources, and encourage transformational leadership.
