Abstract

"تحاول هذه المذكرة أن تكشف عن فلسفة القيم عند جون ديوي، بوصفها إحدى الركائز الأساسية في الفكر البراغماتي، لتبرز أهميتها في كونها محاولة لإعادة بناء القيم على أسس واقعية وأداتية، تتجاوز التصورات الميتافيزيقية التقليدية. لقد وضع ديوي القيم في صميم الخبرة الإنسانية، يربطها بالفعل الاجتماعي والتربوي والديمقراطي، لذا بدت نظرته للقيم فلسفة عملية تسعى إلى جعل القيم أدوات فعالة لحل مشكلات الإنسان والمجتمع. يهدف هذا العمل إلى تحليل مرجعيات ديوي الفكرية وبيان أثرها في تأسيس مفهوم جديد للقيمة، كما تكشف عن حضور هذه الفلسفة في التربية الحديثة والديمقراطية والمجتمع المدني. والغاية الأساسية هي إبراز كيف تتحول القيم، عند ديوي، من مبادئ نظرية إلى قوى فاعلة في بناء الإنسان والواقع. ""This thesis seeks to uncover John Dewey’s philosophy of values as one of the fundamental pillars of pragmatist thought, highlighting its significance as an attempt to reconstruct values on realistic and instrumental grounds that transcend traditional metaphysical conceptions. Dewey placed values at the very core of human experience, linking them to social, educational, and democratic action. His view of values thus emerges as a practical philosophy that aims to make them effective tools for addressing human and social problems. The aim of this work is to analyze Dewey’s intellectual foundations and demonstrate their role in establishing a new concept of value. It also reveals the presence of this philosophy in modern education, democracy, and civil society. Ultimately, the central purpose is to show how, in Dewey’s thought, values are transformed from abstract principles into active forces in shaping both the human being and reality. "
