Abstract

This study aimed to measure the impact of agricultural bank financing on economic development in Sudan by analyzing quantitative data from 2000 to 2024. The study assumed a direct relationship between agricultural bank financing and economic development, given that the Sudanese economy is primarily based on agriculture, which is the cornerstone of economic development in Sudan. The study concluded that there is a positive correlation between agricultural bank financing and economic development in Sudan, consistent with economic theory and the fact that agriculture is the primary contributor to Sudan's GDP. The study also found a negative correlation between inflation and economic development in Sudan. The study employed a quantitative econometric approach, analyzing data collected during the study period using the E-VEOWS software. The study recommended prioritizing agricultural financing during planting seasons and ensuring its timely availability, as delays in financing pose a significant risk to farmers during the growing season.
