Abstract
This study aims to highlight the role of digital marketing in the development of
e-commerce, which refers to a set of activities that always rely on computers and the
internet to exchange goods and services in a modern and direct manner, but in
electronic form. The study also aimed to clarify the laws governing this trade in
Algeria. We also discussed the definition of some digital commercial platforms in
Algeria and attempted, through this paper, to highlight the most important challenges
that hinder the application of digital marketing for the development of electronic
commercial transactions in Algeria.
The study concluded that it is necessary to update and develop digital
marketing to develop e-commerce by proposing some solutions in Algeria.
