Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة الحياة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في صحراء قسنطينة خلال الفترة الممتدة بين عامي 1710 و 1848م. تميزت هذه المرحلة بتداخل معقد بين النفوذ المحلي للعائلات المتنفذة والسلطة العثمانية المركزية، وذلك قبل أن تشهد المنطقة تحولات جذرية مع بداية الاحتلال الفرنسي. تتناول الدراسة طبيعة البنية الاقتصادية، وأنماط العيش، والأنشطة التجارية والزراعية، بالإضافة إلى البحث في البنية الاجتماعية بما تتضمنه من تحالفات وصراعات داخلية. وتوضح النتائج كيف أدى التدخل الاستعماري الفرنسي إلى إعادة تشكيل التوازنات القائمة، مما أحدث انعكاسات عميقة على المستويين الاجتماعي والاقتصادي. وتسعى هذه المقاربة التاريخية إلى إبراز جدلية التغير بين الاستمرارية والانقطاع، وتهدف إلى فهم أعمق لآليات التحول التي شهدتها المنطقة في سياق محلي وإقليمي أوسع. This research aims to study the economic and social life of the Constantine desert between 1710 and 1848, a period marked by complex interactions between local influence, represented by powerful families, and the central Ottoman authority, before the region underwent radical changes with the onset of French occupation. The study examines the nature of the economic structure, lifestyles, and commercial and agricultural activities, as well as the social structure with its internal alliances and conflicts. The results highlight how French colonial intervention led to a reshaping of existing balances, with profound repercussions at the social and economic levels. This historical approach seeks to highlight the dialectic of change between continuity and discontinuity and to provide a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of transformation that the region experienced within a broader local and regional context
