Abstract

The course handout “Industrial Electrical Networks” aims to provide second-year Master’s students with theoretical and practical knowledge related to the design, operation, and protection of electrical networks in industrial installations. It covers the structure of industrial electrical networks, types of power supply sources, load calculations, cable sizing, protection devices, grounding systems, neutral earthing systems, and short-circuit current analysis. The course also emphasizes electrical safety, reliability, and power quality, while linking theoretical concepts with real industrial applications.
