Typology And Determinants of Agrotechnical Innovation in El Oued State

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى جرد الابتكارات الزراعية في ولاية وادي سوف وتصنيفها وفهم محددات اعتمادها. ودراسةمستوى نشر الابتكارات مع تسليط الضوء على دور الجهات الفاعلة في الميدان الفلاحي في وصول المزارعين إلىهذه الممارسات والتقنيات الجديدة. من خلال تحليل التفاعلات بين الجهات الفاعلة، حددنا العوامل الاجتماعيةو الاقتصادية والمؤسساتية التي تؤثر على الابتكار، فضلا عن العقبات والفرص التي يمكن استغلالها. استندتالمنهجية البحث إلى مسح ميداني ، بما في ذلك استبيانات ومقابلات مع ازيد من 150 من الناشطين في الميدان الفلاحي ،مثل الاعوان الاداريين والجمعيات والتعاونيات وتجار المدخلات الزراعية والحرفيين. من اهم النتائج المحققة وجودحوالي ثلاثين آلة حرفية مصنعة وعشرة ابتكارات تقنية وستة ابتكارات تنظيمية قيد الاستخدام. كذلك تبين أن المزارعينوالحرفيين هم المحرك الرئيسي للتنمية الزراعية ، بينما يلعب موردو المدخلات دورا مهما. كما يعتبر استخدامالإنترنت المتزايد من اهم العوامل أساسية العتماد الابتكارات ونشرها في أوساط الفلاحين.

The aim of this study is to make an inventory of agricultural innovations in El Oued region, classify them, and understand the determinants of their adoption. And examinate the level of diffusion of innovations while highlighting the crucial role of field actors in farmers' access to these new practices and technologies. By analysing the interactions among actors, we identified the social, economic, and institutional factorsthat influence innovation, as well as the obstacles and opportunities to exploit. The methodology based on a field survey, including questionnaires and interviews with 150 agricultural stakeholder, such as administrative agents, associations, cooperatives, agricultural input dealers, and artisans. The main results reveal the existence of about thirty artisanal machines, ten technical innovations, and six organizational innovations in use. Farmers and artisans revealed to be the main drivers of agriculture development, while input suppliers play a significant role. The availability, demand, and increasing use of the Internet to promote innovations are essential factors for their innovation adoption and dissemination. Résumé : L’étude a pour objectif de recenser les innovations agricoles dans la région d’El Oued, de les classifier et de comprendre les déterminants de leur adoption. Et à examiner le niveau de diffusion des innovations tout en mettant en lumière le rôle crucial des acteurs de terrain dans l'accès des agriculteurs à ces innovations. En analysant les interactions entre acteurs, nous chercherons à identifier les facteurs sociaux, économiques et institutionnels qui influencent l'innovation, ainsi que les obstacles et opportunités à exploiter. La méthodologie repose sur une enquête de terrain, incluant des questionnaires et des entretiens avec 150 acteurs clés, tels que des agents administratifs, des associations, des coopératives, des vendeurs d'intrants agricoles et des artisans. Les résultats principaux révèlent l'existence d'une trentaine de machines artisanales, dix innovations techniques et six innovations organisationnelles en usage. Les agriculteurs et artisans se révèlent d’être les principaux moteurs du développement, tandis que les fournisseurs d'intrants jouent un rôle significatif. La disponibilité, la demande et l'utilisation croissante d'Internet pour promouvoir les innovations sont des facteurs essentiels pour leur adoption d’innovations et leur diffusion.
