Abstract

This modest research, consisting of two theoretical and applied chapters, examines the short story collection "The Thief and Autumn" by Al-Saeed Qubbanah. In this chapter, we address the general concepts of narrative, storytelling, and aesthetics, in addition to the stages of the formation of the art of storytelling and the relationship between aesthetics and narrative. In the applied chapter, we examine and reveal the narrative aesthetics present in the short story collection (textual thresholds, the presence of the female, intertextuality, and symbolic and linguistic condensation). We conclude our research with a conclusion that provides a brief summary of the research.
