Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the dimensions of the entrepreneurial university and the requirements of transitioning towards an entrepreneurial university at the University of Continuous Education – Touggourt Center. A descriptive case study approach was adopted, using a questionnaire administered to a convenience sample of 50 faculty members during the academic year 2025/2026. Data were analyzed using Excel and SPSS (version 25). The results revealed a positive relationship between the dimensions of the entrepreneurial university (leadership and governance, institutional capabilities, entrepreneurial education and training, and support programs) and the requirements of the transition towards an entrepreneurial university according to the European HEInnovate framework. The study also indicated a relatively positive relationship between the transition requirements and the economic and social environment.
