Abstract
This study aims to examine the impact of strategic agility on achieving competitive
advantage within the Sonelgaz Corporation. The dimensions of strategic agility identified in this
study include: strategic sensitivity, responsiveness, collective commitment, and resource fluidity.
The objective is to explore the role of these dimensions in fostering competitive advantage from the
perspective of managers and executives at the Sonelgaz Agency in Mila. To achieve these
objectives, a field study was conducted in which 40 questionnaires were distributed to a selected
number of executives at the organization’s main centers. The collected data were analyzed using
the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), employing several statistical techniques
such as Pearson correlation coefficient, arithmetic means, and the simple regression model.
The study revealed a statistically significant effect of the independent variable (dimensions of
strategic agility) on the dependent variable (competitive advantage), with a strong positive
correlation between the two variables, measured at 73.8%.
The study recommends the reinforcement of strategic agility practices across its four dimensions
within the strategic business units of Sonelgaz to enhance overall competitive positioning.
