هدف سياسة ضبط سوق الخضر والفواكه والعقبات التي تواجهها

Abstract

The process of regulating fruit and vegetable markets aims to stabilize the prices of these products and protect both producers and consumers .The fruit and vegetable sector uses various tools to achieve market stability, ensure quality, and protect stakeholders. Among the most important of these tools are the use of control stocks, which remove surplus products and store them for re-release when supply is low, subsidy policies, and the adoption of crop insurance. In Algeria, the process of regulating the fruit and vegetable market has evolved over time. The failure of the widely consumed agricultural products regulation system (Syrpalac) to control this market prompted the Algerian public authorities in 2023 to establish the Algerian Company for the Regulation of Agricultural Products (SARPA) to undertake this role, granting it broad powers. The company's work during its existence demonstrates positive results, which could improve further if it can overcome the numerous restrictions imposed on it. In parallel with the work of Sarpa, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to grant producers free space in the wholesale markets of Magros, enabling them to sell their products directly without going through intermediaries. This experiment is still in its infancy and its impact can only be assessed after some time .
