It has witnessed great developments, with the increasing risks of disease outbreaks and epidemics that can transform quickly to security threats around the world, the most prominent of which is the Corona virus - Covid 19, which appeared in China in December 2019, as it sparked a wave of international panic for its threat to human existence in the shadow of lack of preparations to deal with it, and therefore the world has become a challenge to this crisis. Despite the problems faced by the health sector in Algeria, it took many measures. Health security faces an important transformation in the history of public health during the twenty-first century. It has witnessed great developments, due to the growing risks of disease outbreaks and epidemics that can quickly turn into security threats and measures to confront this epidemic, whether at health, security or economic level imposed by presidential decrees or governmental or regulatory decisions, as well as the quarantine mechanism, in accordance with achieving their living stability and providing health care and adequate health spending, not to mention scientific research that dispenses with falling into pitfalls and health awareness that enriches the exacerbation of crises As Algeria found itself, like other countries, obliged to reconsider the health policy followed in the current and future situation and to develop strategies to deal with diseases and epidemics to ensure its national security.
